Everest Group Introduces Flexible Outsourcing Support Tools and Services for Companies with Mature Outsourcing Capabilities

Market Changes Leading to Outsourcing Support Services 

Dallas, May 13, 2008: A proprietary product line of flexible, self-paced outsourcing tools and services, developed for companies with the internal resources and experience to lead their own outsourcing efforts, is now available from Everest Group, a global operational strategy consultancy firm.

The Everest Group’s Outsourcing Support Services solution offers a full menu of tools, decision support and workshops that span the entire outsourcing process, which can be purchased individually anytime during the sourcing process or as a customized package.

A one-hour Webinar, Implications of a Maturing Outsourcing Industry on the Role of Strategic Sourcing Organizations, is scheduled for May 20 at 10 a.m. CDT to discuss how Everest Group’s new Outsourcing Support Services can help organizations leverage their capabilities as the outsourcing industry continues to mature.
The Outsourcing Support Services offers three levels of support:

  • Tools providing starting points that save time and allow effort to focus on tailoring to the client’s specific needs. Tool product examples include data collection templates, statements of work (SOW) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), change management toolkit and supplier profiles. Versions are available for more than 50 different processes associated with major functions including human resources, IT, finance and accounting at the process level.
  • Decision Support empowering client with customized access to market expertise and data that informs and validates critical decisions, including knowledge of offshore leveraging diagnostic, benchmarking, supplier short-listing and proposal and contract review.
  • Workshops offering targeted support, available at a pace that fits the client’s organizational plans, that includes project planning, outsourcing best practices, pricing model design, negotiation planning and governance design.
