The Everest Research Institute and its affiliates ("Institute" or "we") is committed to protecting the privacy of the personally-identifiable information that we collect from you as you use this Web site (the "Site"). The scope of the Institute’s commitment is detailed in this Privacy Policy. By submitting information, you agree to the Institute's use of such information as described herein. We use the information we collect on our Web site to deliver services and to enhance your experience. When you register on the Institute’s Web sites, or for events, or purchase products, we ask you for personal information. We use this information to provide you with the best advice and highest-quality service as well as with offers that we think are relevant to you. 

What personally-identifiable information is collected?

The Institute collects personally-identifiable information on certain areas of the Site when users register, request publications or other information, sign up for events, apply for jobs, and participate in user posting areas, such as bulletin boards, discussion forums, and surveys. The personally-identifiable information collected may consist of information that you provide, such as names, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and, for recruiting purposes, any other personally-identifiable information on your resume. In addition, the Institute collects certain information that you do not visibly enter, such as your IP address, browsing pattern on the Site, click stream, and the status of cookies placed on your computer by the Institute, as described below. 

How may the Institute use my personally-identifiable information?

The Institute uses your personally-identifiable information to fulfill your requests for information, to process your requests to participate in events, to evaluate any job applications or other employment-related inquiries that you may submit, or for such other business purposes as you may initiate or request. We may keep any of your personally-identifiable information on file and use it to contact you for recruiting purposes. The Institute also uses personally-identifiable information to perform statistical analyses of user behavior in order to measure interest in specific areas and information posted on our Site. The Institute uses personally-identifiable information collected from cookies and IP addresses as described below. The Institute may provide your personally-identifiable information to any of its affiliates worldwide for such purposes. 

Email Privacy

The Institute requires that users provide an email address as their login identity when registering for an account on our web site. This ensures a unique identity and provides the Institute with a method to contact customers about service interruptions and other service related issues. During registration, new users are added to the Institute’s Subscriber list to receive additional communications about special Institute offers, unless the user unchecks the pre-checked Contact box. If you choose to un-check the Contact boxes, you will not be included in the Institute subscriber list. To remove your email address from this list, simply login to the web site, click on Edit Profile in the top-right corner of the screen, then un-check the selected contact methods in the "Contact Me By" section. Once you are on the subscriber list, you may ask to be removed at any time. You may simply click on the link that appears at the bottom of the Institute email you receive. Or, you may also request that your email address be removed from the web site subscriber list by entering it on our Unsubscribe list, here. Once you request to be removed, please allow up to 10 days to be taken off the Institute subscriberlist. If you would like to re-subscribe, you can add your email address to our list again by signing up to be contacted on your Institute My Profile page, or by contacting the Institute Technical Support at ERIsupport@everestgrp.com. 

Cookie Policy

The Site uses cookies to identify you and your interests and to track usage of the Site. How can I access, change, and/or delete information?

You may access, correct, update, and/or delete any personally-identifiable information that you submit to the Site. You may also unsubscribe from mailing lists or any registrations on the Site.
