This multi-tabbed spreadsheet is a template that can be used to gather unit based pricing inputs from suppliers for IT Infrastructure outsourcing situations. The pricing template for IT Infrastructure allows buyer vendor management teams to gather unit based pricing inputs from suppliers for IT Infrastructure outsourcing situations. This multi-tabbed spreadsheet comprises instructions, assumptions, financial summary, resource units, base fees, mainframe, midrange, desktop, network, helpdesk, COLA, resource pool, termination fees, and termination assistance.
The MS Excel-based tool has one worksheet for each of the sections mentioned above. Resource units tab helps in capturing volume data for each tower (Mainframe, Midrange, Desktop, Network, Helpdesk). Base Fees tab captures fee related data for each tower for each year of the contract. Tabs related to Mainframe, Midrange, Desktop, Network, Helpdesk capture detailed resource requirement along with the volume ranges (ARC, RRC, Deadband). COLA tab captures data related to inflation in labor costs based on location of resource.
Resource pool tab captures data for dedicate resources required over the lifecycle of the contract. This includes rate card (hourly, weekly, monthly and quarterly) based on geographic spread (onsite, offsite, offshore) and skill level. Termination fees tab captures termination charges (for convenience) annually for each tower. Termination assistance tab caters to situation where contract has expired and is not being renewed.
